Bedroom Makeover #2- the girls' room!

I've been meaning to paint the girls' room for a while now.  Every time I go up and down their stairs the gallon of paint sitting on them would mock me and tell me what a failure I was for not doing it yet.  So we finally had a couple rain days that made it seem appropriate for spending the day inside, doing an inside project.
Here are the before pictures:
Plain Ol' boring white.
I finished the first coat by dinner time on Tuesday and then had to do the second coat after we got back from taking Chase to t-ball and before bed.
After I had it all painted and took the tape off I decided that I really needed to paint the doors too or else they would just bug me every time I looked at their unfinished selves.  So I did them today.  They took forever too because I had to do 4 coats of paint on each door!  They do look much better though.
I pushed the love seat up the stairs all by myself this morning too.  Halfway up the stairs I thought, "hmm, I think I'm stuck, maybe I should have not done this." :P  Well I wiggled it a bit and did succeed in getting it all the way up by myself.
I'm very happy with the end result and of course Joanna LOVES it.  Pay no attention to the awful/really ugly carpet.
I like our little reading nook:
and the glider is still up there for the times when Katy will let me rock her to sleep :)

looks beautiful - bet the girls love it! I can't believe you hauled that love seat up by yourself - you must be a very determined YODER!!
