Last Wednesday my friends Ronda, Christine and I went to the Science Factory in Lancaster. I really like this place a lot. It's a huge, warehouse style, room full of different science experiments. The kids can run around and explore and we can see everyone without too much trouble.
We lucked out too and had the whole place to ourselves!
The kids had a blast, of course.
There were some new displays since we had been there the last time too. This thing demonstrated the power of suction and vacuum. You put balls in the one side and they traveled across the room and popped out the other side.
And this hover chair was really neat!
This was the best picture I could get of Katy because she was just running around having so much fun... too busy to stand still for a picture!
the staff there was so nice and accommodating too and let us eat our lunches in their private conference room! It would be nice to have a family membership there I think, we spent almost 3 hours there.Having fun on the way out:
my, what a big camera I have :P
silly kids:
I crocheted some place mats:
I really like how they turned out.
There's only 3 on the table, I had made 4 big ones and 1 mini one for Katy, because Joanna did NOT want one at her spot because there was no pink or purple in them :P I'm using the 4th one under my Keurig which I'll show you later.
I also finished all of the angry birds for Chase's Christmas present, I have to assemble a pig and make 2 small ones and then I'll be done. They look so good too, I'm really excited for him to get them! I also made a couple more infinity scarves and am trying to decide what to do with them.Ricky went off bear hunting today so the kids and I were bored at home most of the day and decided to go to French Creek SP to play.
This picture made me laugh because of her shirt that says "Joy":
We had a lot of fun at the playground for a while and then decided to walk over to the lake and look at the ducks.this picture is blurry because they may or may not have been being chased by a mommyosaurous.
It was a really beautiful evening tonight. I love these crisp, cool fall evenings.
