It's March! MARCH!

.... and I'm a little excited about the approach of spring.  It seems as though we've been cooped up in the house for WAY too long.  I need to feel the sun on my face and the dirt in my fingers again.  And maybe plant something :P
Katy dear has been waking up sooo early lately.  She wakes up happy but then quickly goes downhill.  I think it might be time to move her bedtime a little later in the evening.  I also think daylight savings time will help too and am looking forward to that on Sunday!
 she's lucky she's so cute :)
Chase and I have been plugging away with school every day.  We seem to have found our groove again and have been good about getting all of our things done (plus a couple extras) every day before nap time/quiet time.  He's pretty lucky to be able to hold a puppy while at school, huh? :P
We saw a lot of interesting winter birds at our feeder this year.  I think I mentioned this before but I have really been enjoying bird watching.  We saw a northern Shrike the other day and that was very neat!  I like running to the posters in our dining room and looking up the names of all the birds we see :)
The girls had to try out their Easter dresses early.  This is the first time I have gotten them matching dresses, let alone Easter dresses!  They are going to look super cute though!
I also started working on a very spring-y cheery blanket for Joanna banana.  I don't know how I let her talk me into making a blanket, I always said that I would NEVER make a blanket.... she has a way of talking you into things though, and it's going to look really nice when it's all done.
It's doubled now since this picture but I had to step away from it for a little while and make some other things.
I got Ricky this awesome t-shirt as a anniversary gift:
Random pictures of my cutie-pie in the tub:
And Joanna running laps with her wings on:

Today was a beautiful day and so we decided to stop at the park for a little after running some errands.
 Katy loves to swing!
Joanna likes it pretty well too :)
I was looking at these pictures and wondering how in the world he has gotten so big all of a sudden!
I took him for a haircut the other day and I think that always makes them look bigger.
Oh my goodness, what are these?? Flowers!?!?!!
Joanna found some in our grass when we got home too :)
So the kids played outside most of the afternoon and it was so nice.  Now I suppose we're going to get snow tomorrow though!  That's March for you.  We'll take the sunny days when we can, that's for sure!

What a great post! Those pictures of the park are wonderful. What a beautiful, growing family you have. I found it making me excited and looking forward to having a big Abigail and not just a small one. So fun!
