Katy Emma turned 4

 October 10th was Katy's 4th birthday and she was so excited about it this year.  She feels very big and grownup now and was convinced she grew taller over night :)

 She got to eat all her meals off the "it's your day!" plate and had all of her favorite meals that day.  Ricky gave her her gifts on her birthday too, we got her roller blades and a purple water bottle (she has a thing for water bottles).  

she was very excited about both things although she doesn't show it in the video.  She practiced and practiced on her roller blades and she is pretty good on them now!  We're excited to take them all to the park in the spring :)

The Sunday after her birthday we had a very small party with family for her.  My parents came up and hung out with us right after we got home from church.

Katy loves having books read to her but I don't always get the time for it since I am reading to the other two so much with school.  Well Grammy will always read to her!

 Katy opened her presents from them before they headed home.

She had been really wanting this totally awesome coloring book and Grammy and Pop-pop got it for her.  She started coloring in it right away with her new pens and even let other people help her color!

Pretty soon after they left Ricky's parents and sister and her family came over to have pizza and dessert with us.  I was having issues that resulted in me not being able to bake a cake so I made cupcakes and I think they turned out good!  We sometimes call Katy "Kit-Kat" and she had requested M&M's on her cake like last year so this is what I came up with:

Coloring with Memaw... Memaw was very serious about it too :)
