Felting and Cheese in Febuary

Febuary 14th is Valentine's day and the kid's love to celebrate it for some reason. Well, who doesn't love love?! :) we had a special yummy dinner and Joanna helped me make surprise heart shaped biscuits.

We also had our co-op on Valentine's day this year. I am teaching a class on felting this semester and am having a lot of fun trying a new craft. Our first project was these wool dryer balls, I made this one:
These were from a student:
Then I had an idea to make a set of dryer balls on Philadelphia sports teams logos:
These are pretty easy to make and I think everyone in my class enjoyed that project. My kids made a bunch with me at home too :)
Febuary 15th is our wedding anniversary, this year we celebrated our 14th! We had decided to do a family trip away the weekend before but we were able to go out on Wednesday for a meal together.
There's a place close by that's little and old looking and they have the best food ever. One of the perks from getting married the day after Valentine's day is we always get to have red velvet cake 😁
Febuary 18th the kid's and I had a neat field trip to September Farms in Honeybrook, PA
They make and age their own cheese and sell it pretty far and wide.
We had a pretty large group and I think they were a bit overwhelmed. But everyone was very well behaved and respectful
They have a really cute shop and so after our "tour" we looked around, picked out some things to purchase and then sat down for some yummy ice cream!
