Saturday was so hot! Yuck. Ricky and Chase and I were outside all day too. Ricky had some more mulching he wanted to do and I had to get the strawberries weeded. I took my time doing it though and took lots of iced tea breaks. Chase was just playing in his sand and once in a while he would come and help Ricky or me. Ricky's Dad came over too and worked on our potatoes in the morning. I think we are done planting stuff this summer though. I was going to plant a bunch more veggies but I think I'm going to have plenty to do this summer with the NB and Chase and the Corn, puppies, chickens, etc., etc.
Sunday, Ricky and I did children's ministry for the last time in a long time. It was a lot better this week than last. We only had 4 kids! That was very manageable. It was nice that we got to be back there too because it was so hot in the auditorium and our classroom was nice and cool. I don't think I would have liked to sit in the hot auditorium for an hour.
We had gotten a little plastic kiddie pool for Chase on Saturday evening so by Sunday afternoon the water had warmed up to his liking and he was splashing in it for a while. I'll have to get a picture of him in it today some time.In the evening we went to Chad and Sheila's and just hung out for a while. Chad and Ricky shot their bows for a little but it was still so hot at 8:00 when they were out there. Chase was running around their house and fell down a stair with something in his mouth. He was bleeding all over the place! He's ok though, it was just a little cut at his gums.
Anyway, Laundry day. I'm debating if I want to actually go outside to hang it out or not. I guess I will. Yuck! I also have to go get adjusted sometime today. I woke up with a stiff/sore neck on Friday and have been putting up with it since then.

Since my line is not very long, I like these super hot days- it dries faster and I can do more loads. Which is exactly what I'm doing today- as soon as I get up I'm going to switch it. That's pretty much all these ridiculously hot days are good for though!
I cant remember- what is your actual due date and Chase's birthday? I had a dream last night and it was the date. We were hanging out at a little diner and I was telling you that you needed to have your baby soon because I was bored of you not having it yet. It was a Saturday. That's all I really remember. :)
Amy, if you think it is hot- pity the poor Wexcon workers! Jess was flagging in Hamburg today. I was at the nursing home today. Betty and I had the program, and then I came past the work site. Poor Jess! I suppose the pay makes it worth it. Love you, Grandma

I'm due on the 15th(father's day) and Chase turns 2 on the 20th. I'm bored of me not having the baby yet too. :)
Yes the heat just zapps the energy out of you, I barely get anything done in the gardens when I get home from work, it's just too hot. I've got a few corn coming up through the ground, it's exciting. Still have lots more to do yet. Sounds like you are doing well. Enjoy these last few days. They'll soon be over.
