Well I finished painting my cabinets and I am very happy with them. I decided to only paint the lower ones. I was worried that if I did all of them it would be too dark and really I was only unhappy with the bottom cabinets being white anyway. I think it looks very nice.

Saturday, Ricky took Chase squirrel hunting. I don't think it went very well because they were only gone for an hour and didn't come home with any squirrels (fine with me) but Chase looked so funnily(yes I made up a word) cute in his hunting gear.

So not much else going on here. I'm doing Thanksgiving for Ricky's family here on Thursday and then we are going to NJ on Friday with my family. I love thanksgiving and am very much looking forward to spending time with loved ones. My Grandma had asked how Joanna has been doing sleep wise and I am happy to report that she has been consistently sleeping 12 hours a night for a few weeks now. Hooray for that! There were a couple nights this last week when she woke up for a while but she's been fighting a cold too so that was understandable. It's such a relief to be able to sleep through the night though.
Alison inspired me to create my own signature, what do you think? It took me a while to figure out how to do it but I am pretty pleased with the results.

Your cabinets look great. Chase is so cute in his hunting gear. It makes up for his not getting anything. And I love the signature. It's so YOU.
Love,
Mom

I too love your signature and remember when you were much younger that you wanted a butterfly net for your birthday. The signature is you! And I'm so glad Joanna is sleeping. You need your rest. I think your kitchen looks nice, but I think you were wise leaving the top cupboards white. It would have been dark and "depressing" to have the top ones also dark. It won't be long until our Wexcon dinner at Shady Maple. I hope you are coming.

Hmmmm..... I think you should paint the top cabinets, but that's just me. Now you need a new floor ;) This is where a little project becomes a big one.
Chase does look funily. :)

Love the cabinets Amers! Chase looks too cute! How nice it must be now that Joanna is finally sleeping. Are you feeling sane again? It has been a long time coming.

Christy, I had a feeling you would say that :) I remembered you said that about thinking it was wierd but I've seen it before on decorating shows and Dawn said she thought it was a good idea too. Hey, I can't always do everything you tell me, right? :D

I wish I had half the painting motivation you do!! Still on my list to do the bathroom, and when I'm done w/ that I'm sure I'll find something else that needs to be done. It never ends!
