From my pregnancy newsletter this morning:
Baby's now the size of a prune! With bones and cartilage starting to form and vital organs beginning to function, baby is making major progress. Body length will almost double in the next three weeks, and arm joints are now working. (Soon, legs will start working too.)
We are very excited and happy. I'm due the middle of October (no I'm not telling you the date) and feeling very good. Only a couple more weeks till I'm out of the first trimester. The Ultrasound pictures were from this morning and everything looks good and healthy. It was surreal to see it because I really have not felt very pregnant. I really think this motion sickness bracelet is helping a lot. Well that's all for now friends.

I had those bands too and they did seem to be helpful. Maybe it was mental but it doesn't really matter because it worked!
Welcome new little peanut (sounds better than "prune")!
Yeah...9 grandchildren! Amazing! God is good.
Love,
Mom
I really don't think they are a plasebo because I was super scepticle but they do really work, even with my scepticism :) Only a couple more weeks of it though.
So excited for you!
YAY!!! What a blessing! So happy for you :) xoxo
CONGRATULATIONS! What wonderful news!
Congrats!!!! I am very excited for you!!! God Bless....Shannon E.
Congratulations Amy!! We love babies around here :) Hope you keep feeling well, what a blessing that is.
Such precious pictures! I hope you don't mind if I splash around a bit and get to know you. You have a delightful place here.
Hugs for your night,
Sara
(and labradoodles, do you love them, we're thinking about getting one)
Thanks for the update on the dog. I would love one, but will look for a 2nd generation. We have a poodle from serving on the mission field :) and my hubby would love a lab, so we thought the mix would be the best of both worlds.
Thanks for stopping by and splashing around with me,
Sara
Congratulations! Even though I heard your news before you "announced" it, thanks to your husband! I guess that means he is happy and excited. I suppose you will not want to know the sex of the baby before he/she is born- right? I must get out and cut out old canes on my raspberries, unless I can think of another reason (excuse) to put it off!
no, i think we both want to know what it is. You know we knew that Joanna was a girl, we just didn't tell everyone, right? i've been putting off trimming my grape vines and my excuse is that I can't find my prunning shears, I'm pretty good at coming up with excuses :)
