I went for an ultrasound on Monday afternoon and they said that everything looks great with the baby, she's still a girl and has beautiful kidneys (that apparently look like chocolate chip cookies) and heart and all those other organs. The Doctor and ultrasound tech were pretty funny and were making me laugh throughout the whole thing. The tech was a man who apparently didn't know much about midwives and what they do and I was very impressed with how pro-midwife and VBAC the doctor was while answering his questions. The reason I was having the ultrasound was to determine where the placenta is and make sure it didn't attach to my c-section scar, well it's very much out of the way so I'm "cleared" for another VBAC and even a water birth if I want to, I'm still trying to decide about that one. They said that the baby weighs 5lbs 14ozs right now which is right where she should be.
Tuesday, my parents drove up to help me start organizing the piles and piles of baby clothes and kids clothes that I've been avoiding. We got it all done too! I was so happy with everything that we got done. I'm going to have to get some more winter things for all the kids but that's next week. My dad and I also carried up the changing table into the living room so it actually looks like we might be having a baby soon.

I might have to find a different spot for it though... Joanna likes to crawl up there and sit there and it's right by the thermostat which she turned up to 90 degrees twice already today! Since I took that picture I also stocked it with all the diapers I should need for a few weeks so we're ready to go!
We also got the guest room organized and cleaned up, we just need to shampoo the carpets in there and then we're all done.

It's hard to explain everything that we got done but trust me it was A LOT. We even started cleaning the windows while the kids were napping. The ones we did look so much better.

I have quite a few more to go, but it was a start anyway :)
While my mom and I were working on all that, my dad worked on installing a new screen/storm door for us. Our old one had come off the frame and the screws were stripped so we couldn't use it and just had it propped open all the time. I love the new door!

Notice my fall decorations? Have I ever told you how much I love to decorate for fall? Chase helped me pick out all the little gourds and arrange them around the wheat shock.
I also did the front door and the steps up to the patio. The mums were a steal at 3 for $11! I have the perfect spot picked out to plant them too.

Everything DOES look really nice, that is funny about Joanna turning the thermostat up to 90! haha!
oh I love fall. I hate when I go to write down all I did that day it never seems like a lot! So I totally understand. :)
